The portrait in small steps

Language(s)

F / D / EN / L

Two-part workshop in the classroom and the museum.

In class, after a short presentation of the Villa Vauban, its park and its collections, the children will be led to define what a portrait is. The young participants will discover - in an interactive way - a short history of portraiture in art. The child will then imagine his portrait as an adult.
During a second appointment, this time at the museum, the students will summarize the ideas exchanged in class. They will then discover the portraits exhibited in the museum rooms. A collage made in the workshop will summarize these two encounters.
