The challenge of the void - support or subject?

This workshop invites you to explore not only oil painting, but also the question of emptiness.

Through compositions of uncoloured spaces, the importance of the void and its relationship with the motif will be explored. A question that is also present in many of the works of the artist Jean-Pierre Beckius.

In the first stage, participants will prepare a sketch, which will then be partially covered with a composition of adhesive tape.
Then the painting begins!
Finally, the tape will be removed, and the effect of the void will unfold its full force.
