From the drawing to the sculpture

Drawing helps the idea of a sculpture mature and become a reality.
Most sculptors draw to clarify and plan their work. These drawings sometimes become independent works of art.
Addition or subtraction? Building a volume or removing parts of a block to create a figure? The representation of volume on paper creates the illusion of space.
