Two students from the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, Max Gieres (pianist) and Mika Gieres (flutist), will present a diverse musical program on the theme "Typical (fe)male?" during a morning music session. They will highlight Clara Schumann, one of the most famous female composers, while underscoring the prevailing male dominance of the era. The program will also showcase different musical developments in France and Germany, with a more "masculine" style represented by Beethoven in Germany and a more "feminine" evolution with composers such as Francis Poulenc in France.
