Join us for a special guided tour through Villa Vauban’s permanent exhibition, where we invite you to explore classic artworks through a queer perspective. Delve into the hidden stories and alternate readings of 17th- to 19th-century masterpieces, as we reinterpret portraits, genre scenes, and landscapes with an inclusive outlook. While our collection may not explicitly feature artists known as queer today, these pieces can be appreciated from diverse viewpoints, revealing new dimensions of identity, beauty, and connection.

Highlights include Dutch Golden Age works, Italian dreamscapes, and French masterpieces by Jan Brueghel the Younger, Canaletto, and Eugène Delacroix. Through this lens, each piece invites us to question and celebrate the richness of personal expression across time.

Join us to experience art history with fresh, inclusive insights.
