Villa Plage: Paint with scissors

Inspired by the cut-outs made by the artist Henri Matisse, this workshop is an opportunity to create a work of art using only paper. Children can discover that art is not limited to paint and brushes, and that the term ‘painting’ can take many different forms. Children cut out the shapes they want from coloured paper and glue them onto white paper. In this way, they create their own compositions.
