During this guided tour, pupils discover works of art specially created for public spaces. Most of the existing monuments were erected in Luxembourg between the mid-19th century and the early 2000s. It was only from the 1990s onwards that art was actively created for public spaces, i.e. works of art were placed in urban spaces solely for their aesthetic value, without cultivating a culture of remembrance.
