Villa Vauban – Art Museum of the City of Luxembourg

Located in a historic park, Villa Vauban is a fine arts museum with collections of European art from the 17th to the 20th century and Luxembourgish art from the 19th to the 21st century. As the Art Museum of the City of Luxembourg, its mission also includes the conservation of artworks belonging to the City and located in public spaces throughout Luxembourg City.

Villa Vauban preserves, studies, exhibits and expands its collections through new acquisitions, with the aim of enhancing their visibility and making them accessible to the public.

Its exhibitions explore themes represented in the collections and are based on works from its own holdings as well as loans and exchanges with national and international collections.

Villa Vauban is a place to discover and experience art, open to everyone. It offers visitors of all ages and backgrounds an enriching encounter with art, fostering a deeper understanding of art history through aesthetic enjoyment and shared knowledge.
