Creative workshop for families “A Bouquet of Colours”

In May, the abundance of blossoms reaches its peak: flowers are blooming not only in the park of Villa Vauban, but also in the museum! In this creative workshop, you can choose coloring sheets of your favorite flowers and bring them to life using different techniques. Create several small artworks and combine them at the end to make a lovely, colourful bouquet.

The Villa Vaubanis located in the middle of a park designed by Édouard André, one of the main landscape artists of his time, and reconstituted in its original form. Discover the park and its sculptures during a guided tour. Discover the works of François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, Lucien Wercollier and Liliane Heidelberger.

Guided tour « Women’s Voices in Art »

Take part in a themed tour that shines a light on the contribution of women artists to Luxembourg’s 20th-century art scene. The exhibition Bienvenue à la Villa! (3) brings together 67 artworks – some from the Villa Vauban’s legacy collection, some recent acquisitions – by 19 different artists of which 8 were women.

This tour encourages all visitors to explore worksfrom the 17th to 19th centuries from non-heteronormative perspectives and to reflect on the diversity of human identities and relationships.
